| Future Proof - One More Chance - Single Review | |

Their single 'One More Chance' instantly throws you into the pop culture by just reading the song name, but with an electro edge to their song and their blink 182 style going on (in my opinion) in sections, you instantly get what this band is about. An upbeat, catchy song with sing-along features which works (which is often a rare occasion). A good mixture of instruments, artificial beats and heart-throbbing vocals, it seems they know what they're doing. I could relate FutureProof to such bands as 3oh!3 or HelloGoodbye, but that description wouldn't do any justice as Futureproof have their own thing going on. Certainly listening to more of their songs such as, 'Maniac (feat. Kayne)', you start to understand and appreciate their diverse style while keeping key boy band/pop/power pop themes of heartbreak and love. However, when adding that rap theme to such bands in this genre, it doesn't always work and if often a challenge to persuade the listener, but I will let you be the judge. 'One More Chance', a great single from a upcoming band where I hope to see similar songs come out, instead of remix's and other performers featuring in their tracks as this drove me in the wrong direction. FutureProof.. Well.. although they are a reasonably small band originating from Hertfordshire, I can still say I have heard of them before! With great looks, and boyish charm, does their music match on quality?
